Halima Karimi

Halima Karimi is an Afghan journalist, radio host, and activist with over four years of experience in investigative journalism. She has specialized in reporting on human rights violations, institutional corruption, and social injustices in Afghanistan. Her work, both rigorous and courageous, has led her to produce in-depth investigations often focused on the conditions of women and children.
As a radio presenter, Halima hosted a weekly program centered on domestic violence and women's rights, helping to break taboos and raise public awareness. She is also the founder of an organization supporting homeless children in Afghanistan, providing shelter, education, and psychological assistance to the most vulnerable.
Due to her critical journalism and commitment to human rights, she was threatened by the Taliban regime and forced to flee the country. She went into exile in France in 2022, where she continues her work as an independent journalist for various media outlets.
